Accounts Payable Assistant

SJR is now looking for a self-driven accounts payable assistant for our client in Kungsholmen. The assignment starts as soon as possible and initially lasts for six months, with good opportunities for extension or transition to employment with the client. The role is full-time and offers a flexible arrangement where you can work from home two days a week.

About the Position

As an accounts payable assistant, you will be part of a team of 15 people and report to the Accounting Manager. Your tasks will primarily be within accounts payable and will include:

Responsibilities

• Posting supplier invoices before they are sent out in the organization for approval
• Year-end closing and closing accounts payable and reconciling with the general ledger
• Reconciling balance accounts related to accounts payable
• Payment reminders
• Administrative tasks related to the finance department

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in finance and preferably several years of experience in similar tasks, driven by process improvement and possessing a system interest, preferably with previous experience of the ERP system Agresso/Unit4. You should have worked in large flows and enjoy varied tasks.

Personal Qualities

As a person, you are meticulous, self-driven, and proactive, with a good understanding of accounting. Since the role will involve a lot of social contacts both internally and externally, we also see that you have an easy time collaborating and making new connections. Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form is a requirement.
